I didn't know that limp handshakes were a bad thing. That's how I've always done handshakes. Now, obviously, I don't do that anymore when I found out a lot of people hate that.

That's how I gauge another guy when I shake hands with them. If you shake my hand like a dead salmon then I'm taking controll of the situation.

As a kid that's one thing my mum made sure I knew how to do. She was honestly like 'screw learning to tie shoelaces, you're learning to shake hands'

My fifth grade teacher taught us all how to shake hands properly, and that includes looking into their eyes and addressing them properly

the worst part is when your a woman and you go for the strong handshake and the guy forces you into this weird lady claw.....like enforced dainty handshake. Like seriously your hands is stereotyping me man.

That usualy only happens in social situations. I never lady claw a coworker or superior.

My English teacher in middle school took nearly a whole month to teach us how to firmly shake a hand
