And sometimes kids are kids. Just because a kid is screaming in a store doesn't mean the parents are 100% at fault.

Yes it does. Because I used to be a kid just kid and my mother fixed that right up. That's the difference between a shitty mother and a good mother. It takes leadership and a motherly wisdom. Your kids behavior reflect on you the parent and how you handle it says a whole lot more.

And if all you're doing is adding to the noise being made, you are a bad parent.

It also reflects how much rest they've had, if they're hungry, tired, or if they're just having a bad day.

These kinds of posts are getting annoying. Of course the really loud, raucous ones are annoying and their parents should leave with them if they cause too much trouble, but people nowadays seem to have a problem with a kid just being a kid. News flash, kids are obnoxious and louder than the average person because they are kids. You can give me bullshit about how well your parents disciplined you, but you didn't not act out because of etiquette but because you were afraid of consequences, and no, that's not the same thing. And every kid is different. I was really quiet and didn't get fussy very often, if at all, but my sister was the total opposite and she'd cry and yell over everything, but the same parents raised us, and if anything, they were stricter disciplining her because she was the loud one and yet she didn't change. She's a wonderful human being with great manners now that she's older, though.

My point is to just let kids be kids and to not be so damn judgmental every time you hear a child cry and automatically pinpoint all the blame on the parents because you don't know that child and you don't know their parents or all of the circumstances.
