They did this to embarass him and scare him and idk what else but no way they thought it was a bomb because if they did they would have followed procedure evacuated the school and called the bomb squad in to render it safe. Its a shame what they did to this child yet a white american boy can build a nuclear fusion reactor and be praised
Actually he was told by the first teacher to not show it to anyone else because it might be taken the wrong way, which he ignored. So under the first amendment which states that you may not cause an unnecessary panic, like yelling fire in a crowded theater, which was probably caused because, let's be perfectly honest here, it kind of looked like a bomb.

It didnt cause unnecessary panic if it had that means they would have thought it was a bomb and followed proper procedure. The fact that they didnt evacuate the school and have the bomb squad dispose of it proves they did not believe it was a bomb. FYI: The First Amendment is about Religion and Expression. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
No one ever though it was an actual bomb.

Do you get it?
No one ever though it was an actual bomb.
The police even announced, long before any details were released, that there was a "bomb hoax" at the school. Not a bomb, not a bomb threat, a "bomb hoax."
he didnt "ignore" the direction, it made a sound in his bag and a different teacher made him take it out, theres no way this goes down without him defying one of the two teachers.
No. He didn't even make the case. It was just a pencil case that looked like a small briefcase. Some of his other "inventions" are nothing more than commercial products removed from their housings, cases.

1. Make fake alarm clock that mostly resembles a bomb.
2. Show to teachers in the hopes that they'll sound a false alarm.
3.????
4. Profit!
