Check your facts. The South Vietnamese fire-bombed the village to root out Viet Cong...the US had nothing to do with it. Don't feel too bad, though. That image gets a lot of "US = evil" milage on accident and on purpose.

That's pretty cool to see this, we always see the photos and the subjects in them but the photographers were there too
You didn't mention the best part: the photos have been taken with a one of the biggest polaroid cameras ever build. This Prototype was build on a barbers chair to be able to handle the camera well enough since the apparatus is really big and therefore too heavy to lift by hand. These polaroids are about 80 x 60 cm big and there are only under a hundred sheet of polaroids left because the production never really started!
