Yes. Also, I hate it when people try to give me some kind of address, phone number, email or something like that over the phone; just text it so there is no "now did you say B as in bacteria or D as in doxycycline?" crap going on.

Oh my yes! Or when they tell me what they want me to get from the drive thru and I'm still 10 minutes away. I'm gonna forget it. I need a text.
Especially if it is a half caramel apple explosion/ half cinnamon pumpkin mocha latte-frappuccino with one and a quarter shots of espresso and exactly 1729 sugar crystals. If you say that over the phone to me, you are getting a coffee black.

Ugh. Yeah. Or giving info about someone being sick or in the hospital. My mom always does it in a phone call and has to tell the ENTIRE story of how it happened and where they were and what they were doing and all of this other completely irrelevant information when she could've sent a text and I could've gotten out the door faster to come see them.
Dude, patience is a virtue. Sometimes people are too busy to text back at the moment

If it's important and you need a response back quickly, then call. I don't even hear my text beep 90% of the time. And, how did this post get so many up votes. I down voted it.
