They made a 10 minute short film of the same name which was then incorporated into the main Saw film we all know

-shot in 18 days
-they used the same building for saw 1 just made the rooms different which coined the scene transition from warehouse to bedroom through a wall it was actually built like that sets were right next to each other
-700k budget(I think)
-the car chase scenes were made by the crew shaking the van lol
-detective tapp ran behind the pole during the shootout scene and that wasn't scripted but James wan thought it was so funny cause it was a small 4x4 pole he kept it
The first movie was unique, but then everything after that was like, "Let's come up with more grotesque ways to kill people, and somehow weave together a reason that someone would do that."
