yepp it is true 747 can carry a spaceshuttle AFTER modification and there is also the tiny fact that when that 747 carries the shuttle no passengers are on board

yes...also as i recall there were only 2 of them modified for this type of task

Also, overweight luggage fees are because the more a plane weighs, the more fuel it needs for the same flight.

I mean, if you want to ride in a plane specifically designed to carry a fucking space shuttle, despite there being only a cockpit.

That sounds like it could be a game show. A bunch of loose money grab what you can while it takes off and lands

The fees could probable be bcuz of the extra work and time it takes for personell to ship it through the airport etc.
