If anyone is curious, that top part is called the death waltz, it was originally written as a joke but using computer programs this is what it would theoretically sound like, https://youtu.be/tds0qoxWVss

That's not how it would have sounded, that's not even the death waltz. That's a song called U.N Owen Was Her and it's from a Japanese video game called Touhou.

It was originally intended to be a piece of artwork, and not to be played.

They're not similar at all. Death Waltz sounds strange, there was one woman who arranged to play it live and she did. Even with the parts that gave crazy instructions. A few years ago someone uploaded U.N. Owen Was Her to Youtube under the title 'Death Waltz' and everyone thought it really was the death waltz and now it's everywhere. It's just one big misunderstanding really.

I was once part of a school band where I played percussion. I was 6 years old and it was the first time playing. My only part was a single triangle note at the end of the song. Good times.

Same. I had many triangle solos in my middle school band. Good times.

That is so hardcore. Thank god string instruments physically can't so that.
