That's not how flu shots work

Flu shots make an educated guess as to the strain that will be most popular that winter. Even if the guess is right the efficacy rate is dismal. Some studies have shown 75% of people who contract the flu received a shot.
Vaccination is not inoculation.

Also, influenza ("the flu") is a virus... strep is bacterial (as in Streptococcus). These work in entirely different ways, and the immune system has VERY different ways of dealing with them.

OMG yes! I just finished my family medicine rotation and the excuses were redonk! It was actually frustrating, but my preceptor took it all in stride.

I don't think I've had the flu in years and I also haven't had a flu shot in years. When I did get a flu shot when I was young I got the flu. So I feel pretty safe. (Feel free to voice your opinion about this to me, I'm open to conversation. Not anger fueled argument.)

You must work in a pharmacy to, I hear that at least once a day.
