Carrageenan or gelatin would do it, as well as xanthan gum. These are all thickeners, which would keep the cream solidish at higher temps. They are not harmful, and carrageenan comes from seaweed.

It has gelatin in it. They make popsicles that don't melt as well-they have a weird texture.
