ah but theres where it gets messy, its illegal at a federal level so even if you live in those states and have a federal job you can still be fired for failing a drug test for pot! and of course it was intended to jolt you awake

Even if you don't have a federal job you can still be fired for testing positive in those states
i've not bothered to learn the finer points beyond how it applied to me although i suppose being as its federal law i can see how a company could still fire you even if its legal locally
personally i think drugs shouldn't be illegal, the drug war is a farce and harms more than it helps, and the current system criminalizes people who need help instead of helping them, even if you WANT help its hard to get it without repercussions. so much non drug crime is tied to drugs its absurd
yes. i am rather against telling people they cannot put things into their own bodies, and its well proven even if illegal people will do it anyways, and making and buying the drugs creates a lot of crime that isnt even the drugs themselves, and then the only way to "help" these people is to toss them into jail/prison which really just takes people whos only crime may have been obtaining drugs and tosses them into a lifelong headspin into crime and blah blah blah prohibition is bad.

While I somewhat agree making them all legal would open it up to people who wouldn't normally try it because it's illegal and therefore become addicted which is another headspin
(Other than the fact that I bought a blue Betta fish I named Pish the Fish)
