Just because that man didn't know how to explain his point of view, it didn't mean his religion is a bad thing...ignorance is not a privilege from any side...
I never said religion was a bad thing? I'm actually agreeing with you. I'm just saying that to acknowledge that atheists make fun of religious people, you have to also acknowledge that religious people make fun of atheists too. Both sides look down on each other, but not every one on both sides do.
Generally speaking, people just use the religion as a reason for justification, but almost all war is a fight over resources. For example, Hitler rose to power because the people of Germany were economically b*tch slapped after WWI.
