That's cool, but as I understand it, tattoo details fade over time. That'll be a vaguely cancerou-looking blotch of colour in a skull shape in 10 years, won't it?

Depends where and how it's done, also what kind of ink they use. In an area that gets no sun, done with good ink and by a talented tattooist, this could look awesome for your lifetime.
