Sydney more specifically. And the top one is how I picture Alice Springs for some reason. Maybe because of Ayers Rock.

I actually live/work at Yulara (the tiny town next to Ayers Rock) and it looks exactly like that. Big, wide open spaces, snakes, reptiles, no kanagaroos out here though (not enough water). But we do have camels, so that's fun.
