Apparently, the Red Cross gets so much blood during crisies a good chunk of it goes bad before they can use it.

Yes that's why it's good to wait a few days after a crisis to donate if there are already lines like this. And to call ahead and see if your type is needed if you aren't O-
Today at school our teachers came to tell us that O- is really really needed. It's a real crisis, tomorrow we will have class about how to react and give first help in case of emergency (I'm a future nurse for kids), bc it could happen again. So yeah, we need this kind of queue
