I don't know about the first one. I'm always held up for some investigation at the airport and I'm not even Black/Brown or Asian. Maybe I just look shifty.
The airport one isn't true. I work at an airport and can tell you from experience that no one is profiling anyone, however people will believe what they may and I'm sure I can't change their opinion.
