What are friends for?

I've got a bit of a code that I live by, if a friend helps you out at all (helping move house, fixing a computer, building something) for free, buy them a beer or shout them lunch or something to that effect. It is their time and as much as I'm sure they enjoy helping you and spending time with you, it is always a nice gesture to show appreciation
