First of all, no. That's completely unfair of you using the one picture of Voldemort with his tongue out. Come on. Second of all, the reason for the change is that he was reborn during the fourth book/movie into current Voldemort. Nagini and snakes in general are a symbol of the Dark Lord, so it's likely the lack of a nose is a result of those influences. We can all agree that Voldemort without his nose is pretty damn disturbing. And it's supposed to be. Voldemort stands out from other villains with his lack of a nose, and most in the fandom wouldn't have it any other way.
Ralph fiennes is an incredible actor. I loved him in constant gardener, he was spine-chilling in red dragon and absolutely remarkable in Schindler's list.. But i never did liked him as Voldemort, in my head i pictured Voldemort in the books quite differently. There's a chilling quietness that surrounds Voldemort (book) that for me Fiennes never got, it was more terrifying than what was done in the movies..but i dunno i might just be biased or something.
