Too bad he doesn't practice what he preaches. I like eminen as an artist and all but sometimes (often actually) he straight up attacks people for no reason

I'll treat everyone the same, regardless of how they treat me. I'm not a self-important asshole and realize sometimes people have bad days and take it out on the wrong person.

If someone uses a pejorative expression for [edit] an LGBT*[/edit] person as a fucking INSULT its fucking homophobe. Oh, he played with fucking Elton John? He has homosexual friends and is pro gay marriage? He just lets his alter ego say these things? Fuck all that. He knows where the money flows is all. He is great with words, right. Still he is a stupid, narrow minded little asshole. He can be both at the same time, surprise.

I'm American and no one can know how I intend the use of any word, since no one can read my thoughts, so... I can call people queer and all is good?

"Queer" is beginning to come into use as an umbrella term meaning not heterosexual, but its history as an insult means you have to be careful. Unless it's in an academic context (e.g. "queer studies," "queer representation,") or you yourself are gay, it's probably best not to use it.

That's utter bullshit. If it is a bad word, no one should be using it in any context. Same with "nigger" "dyke" take your pick. If a word is ok for you to use it is ok for me. If it is offensive, no one should use it.

I did not mean it as insult (not a native speaker) and I have not problem to edit it. Thanks for pointing this out.

No insult taken on my part, sorry if I gave you that impression. This idea that certain words are ok for certain people to say but not others has been an issue in this country for years. For instance, the word "nigger" has been accepted as taboo for a long time, but many black people call each other nigger frequently. They pronounce it "nigga", only because they drop the "r" in many words, and this is supposed to make it a different word. But, if a white person says "nigga" they are still called racist. Similarly with "queer", "fag", and other words. If a word is unacceptable to say, I believe it is unacceptable for ANY ONE to say.

The thing is, it shouldn't have to be that you wait for someone to be nice to you first, just be nice.

Absolutely true and how I try to live my life. I will say, though, if someone's a total bastard after I've tried to be a good person all bets are off. Not so sure about homie; I have heard some of his lyrics.
