I assume you are not an American? Jan 20 2017 is the day the new president will take office. It is obummer's last day as president. Not even a hint of a threat there. And yes we do have about 2 years of campaigns. Each side has several people campaigning to see who they want to run for president, then we have each side's choice running against each other in the actual presidential election.
you guys DO REALISE that after his retirement its likely that Donald Trump or whatever candidate is gonna try make America some nazi party again, right?
What I've always wondered is why we can't we acknowledge that America's biggest problem with Obama is that he's biracial. Seriously, he's a somewhat decent president that came after one of the shittiest presidents ever. The fact that he hasn't destroyed our economy or tried to oppress a minority group actually makes him a good guy. But, everyone is trying to say that he is terrible or that he's going to declare martial law because they somehow see him as an outsider.
What in hell? Racist much? Obama's politics aside, why in hell would you bring race into it? I hate his politics and what he has done to my country, but his skin color has nothing to do with it. It doesn't matter on which side of the aisle you reside, racism is racism.
Guestwho, exactly how was my statement racist? I live in Texas and, from what I have seen, he's being judged pretty heavily based on his race. The fact that many people don't realize that they're doing this is the real problem.

I think it's mainly the south that notices it's his race that people don't like
Who is judging him based on his race? I seem to recall that not terribly long after he first came to office, there were blacks who thought that he wasn't doing enough for them, who began to say that he wasn't a "real" black man or wasn't "down for the struggle". Democrats have insisted for 8 years now that any disagreement with his politics was due to racism, nevermind that the same political disagreements happened during the Clinton years. The only time his race has ever been a factor in the discussion has been when the left has brought it in. I have never seen a black man in him; I see a liberal. To me and every conservative I know or have heard or read, his race doesn't exist. If anything he is the same color as the Clintons, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Jesse Jackson, and the rest; they are red.
Chips what in hell is you people's problem with "the south" on this thread!? It's really beginning to sound bigoted. Also, just FYI: there are a LOT of blacks and other minorities south of the Mason Dixon line. Are they also toothless racists in your books?
PS: I've seen this timer here in northern Ohio too. Just sayin.
