The scripts to all nine (yes, nine) star wars movies were already written before even the first movie was even released. Additionally there are so many movies that are produced by Disney, such as all of the marvel ones, that are not cartoons or anything like that so it is ridiculous that people thought Disney would ruin them
To be honest with you they kind of ruined the Phase character, I was expecting some sort of background I just hope they fix it in the next few episodes
