The actress who voiced Duckie died not long after the first one was made. I remember hearing about it and wondering how they got her voice for the other movies. I was little and naive.
I loved watching this movie when I was a kid. Judith Barsi (Ducky) probably would have gone far in life, if her father hadn't ripped it from her such a cruel way.
