Yes but it's not like they're using the suit to track his motion, he's just used to make the petting look more realistic, the suit seems unnecessary

I used to do a lot of editing and cgi actually, the head probably had to be covered with a solid color to key out the area underneath her hand but I don't see a reason why he had to wear the entire suit, it's not used for motion tracking or chroma keying
