Quite the scary flowers

I found out this little fact 1 year ago when I was looking for skull flowers for an art project. It made many drawing look awesome! :P

The ester, methyl benzoate, is the main component of the scent of snapdragons. Also, cocaine hydrolyzes in moist air to produce methyl benzoate, which is what drug sniffing dogs are actually detecting by scent.
