I hated being the remote

My nana had one and I used to watch teletubbies on it. I probably could still watch tv on it if I wanted to

Well damn do I feel old now

I still have a t.v. like this, in my game room actually,,the older gaming systems nes, snes, Atari, etc... look so much better played on old t.v.,,,it's funny to look at sitting between my wife's and my 42' flat screens

Even TVs like this had remote. The one at mine either ended up lost of broken, so someone had to be the remote and walk up to the TV everytime

And it was the size of a $20 microwave.

When I was a kid, some people had a redneck remote, a long stick with a little two-arm fork duck taped to the end.

I remember "standing by" the tv cuz my dad told me to when the tv station had technical difficulties and said please stand by!!
