I'm in a Ceramics and Sculpture class, and my excuse for my shitty art is (jokingly) that it's modern art. I'm actually 68% sure that's how modern art really came to be

Cause rich people whose brains are rotting from wealth and boredom are trying to convince themselves they are cultured. Some con-artist (literally) pulls bull crap like this, calls it arts, and charges thousands of dollars off of it so rich people can numb themselves to the fact that they are money hungry imbeciles.
