Yea, because if we started testing on Humans they would start complaining about that. Then we'll never know if a medicine actually works

Seeing as makeup is inessential and medicine is essential, animal testing with such cruelty should only be reserved for essential processes benefitting humanity.

Except when we make robot rats just for the heck of it, and it still gets funded (pure vs. Applied research)
