And nobody takes into consideration that the south deals with hurricanes and tropical storms and the like much better than any other region of the country. It's the same thing every year; the south deals with snow as well as everyone else would deal with a tornado. The point has been made.

I live in Tennessee and everything in the south collum is true. Last year we had Snowpacalypes (we only got like 8 inches of snow but we went into like call the national guard mode and were out of school like 2 weeks) seriously though one time last year there was like 2" of snow predicted for the next day and so my school went ahead and closed and it ended up just raining because the temperature didn't drop like they thought it was going to, but I didn't have school! Gotta love the south
