Why do several of my ocs have sad backstories, but then i have other ocs who are rich and living a great life?

"I'm sorry my child, your family were killed in a fire and you were severely injured by it and I'm not that sorry"

You wouldn't love it if it were all you heard 24/7 for the past week

Hahaha. Well, I love it so I don't think that is something bad, but yes probably I'll be tired after I heard them all the time.
