in 2014, my brother got diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis. it is still undecided in many nations and organisations whether it is a form of cancer or not, so as a disclaimer, i'll refer to it as a disease that has similar traits and treatments to the illness that everyone treats as a death sentence.
i think that when people are dying, it is not the dying person themselves that hurt the most. it is their loved ones. so what this photo states, also applies to the ones who have stood beside their father, holding their hand while his other is connected to endless drugs. it also applies to the younger brothers who have to start their first day of preschool in the hospital's 11th floor waiting outside the surgery theatre to see if big sister wakes up.
please know that we are all hurting. every one of us is hurting and not just when they pass.
no hate please. thank you for listening.
I don't want to take anything away from the message about cancer but i think this is what its like for alot of things.. People see that the immediate danger is gone and you look somewhat okay then they go back to their lives :/
