Imagine having Ellen as your grandma. Your days will consist of dancing and singing. Not to mention getting acted shitless when she scares you.

If the money in my wallet could have sex with each other, it could have sex with me, too.

Third one had my fucking blood boiling. If you want gay trans black relationships, write your own fucking book. You can't just tell someone to change their material in order to satisfy you.

Not everyone can write, and it's a lot of pain writing books. You may as well just fantasize it. Plus, it gets tiring to see 108 reiterations of Nicholas Sparks over and over again. I just want some fantasy book/novel where the main character is gay. The Mortal Instruments came so close, The Iron Trial hasn't confirmed anything yet, and The Raven Boys isn't even giving romance to the secondary characters until the last fucking book. Can anyone give recommendations?

Well listen, you aren't going to get a gay protagonist unless an author wants it. It is not right to force writers to fulfill your fucking needs.

Oh my god, I used to love Nicholas Sparks. I bought a lot of his books, but then I realized it was pretty much the same basic plot over and over again and now I just want to get rid of them all, save maybe three or four.

Look, I can't force them to do anything. And the authors won't do anything they don't want. But imagine if there was nothing but gay romance on the bookshelves, with no straight romance to be seen, except for maybe a few glimpses here and there, but not even as part of the main plot. Just some side information, like two side characters dating, which probably only gets addressed twice in the whole series. Sometimes not even that. This is the shit I have to put up with. Maybe the author decides to announce these two side characters are gay. Maybe the author decides to put some subtext. But god forbid they make the main character gay.
