They had computers in 1961. This is a staged photo for Life magazine, not something people with any sense actually did.

Also.. MEN. MEN. MEN. MEN. MEN. Let's not forget about Rosalind Franklin v. other staged photography. And the other "muscle" behind such work.

This looks like college professors in 2014, not NASA in 1961. Mind you, they landed on the moon 8 years later; very farfetched to go from this to that so soon.

The board is way too clean for engineers. There should be lots of traces from previous writings.
