Same here, i couldn't watch the show most of the time bc i felt it was unfair the way tom was made to look like the bad guy

actually you do realize that jerry is both 50 times smaller than tom, therefor he can't fight him of with claw and fist like tom, and tom has been very cruel to jerry in some, if not most of the episodes.

There were episodes where Tom tried to eat the family bird or fish, or kick out a new pet he was jealous of. Though Jerry had his faults, Tom did as well. That's what balances them out

Sometimes it's different. Like Jerry in that episode where Tom gets $1,000,000 and a nice house, but the second he touches Jerry, he loses all his cash, but Jerry keeps pestering him until he eventually loses everything.
