A long time ago I had a friend named Noè, pronounced no-ehh, and literally every sub we ever had paused at his name, then went "nooo?"

This keeps happening to me and it's really annoying!

I correct them every time because I generally get the same subs, so eventually they'll remember my name. Nobody but me corrects them

My name is Ammon and no one knows how to correctly say it when they first see it. They usually say Amen when they see it, and when there's a sub doing attendance, I just wait for them to go "Uhh...", and when they do that I just go, "Here...".

ive gone by Dave my entire life even teachers called me it but a sub came in one day and read the crossed out name (which is Harmony) and was like “harmony?” and everyone was like “its Dave!”
