Yes, but that's how I learnt english, also from movies, series, games (mostly) and other sites like funsubstance

Yes, also learning the meaning of acronyms like lol and wtf took a while XD, in the end you have to read a lot and try to figure out words by context and if you can't, ask someone or in the most extreme cases... google translate the word and try to use it on context :)

When I moved to Sweden the first few months were me just smiling, nodding, and hoping that nobody asked me a question other than "How are you?" or "What time is it?"
