*points to Scandinavia* how come they afford free college then? And Finland in particular pays its students to go to college. I'm presuming you are referring to bernie sanders in particular, in which case the middle class won't even be paid for it but rather it would be payed by a tax on stock speculation.

The Scandinavian system works mainly because a great majority of those who contribute agree that it is the system they want. According to me it is a good system,

The only way for this country to get better is through education, we don't mind taxing the fuck out of hard workin middle class people like myself for shit I can't have like foodstamps and free health care, so why not for something that actually has a good end result like free, or near free education?

In Scandanavia they don't have majors like Minority Studies or Women's Issues in Media. Also, two people HAVE to work and they tend to live in tiny apartments for many years to overcome the taxation and high cost of living. In the U.S., many couples can decide to own a home and have one spouse stay home with the kids...they have to drive used cars and go on modest vacations, but it's possible.
