I'm in a group with a lot of Moms with special needs kiddos. A lot of them have helmets or braces for several reasons. Some of them have taken them to tatto parlors where they will do unique designs on them. Usually they don't even charge for it. Another place that does it is custom car shops.

These aren't always for special needs kids. They use then to fit heads that are slightly miss shapen

I know. My niece had one for that reason and my special needs group has kids with stuff like this. It isn't just for delayed kids. It's kids with special needs and that fits. Besides, I was stating that some of them have helmets, not that this sweet boy had some kind of mental delay.

When my son was six months old, he had to wear one of these for three months. No matter how we positioned him, he would always rolls into his back causing the back of his head to be slightly mishapen. The helmet did it's job. There's a ton of work that goes into making these helmets and they're not cheap...health insurance doesn't cover it in my state and ended up paying $2000.
