Why do you have to take it to the extremes? Trust me, nobody wants to sing kumbaya with you, once they get to know you. What was a rational behavior in a prehistoric village doesn't make sense in today's melting pot societies. So you can either be a part of the problem and state these dividing factors are just natural, or you can be part of the solution and realize that categories like race, religion, wealth and politics are man made and mainly instruments of divide and conquer. Race is even more of a construct than the idea of two genders, with even less scientific backup. Religion has hardly anything to do with the spirituality we are born with. Wealth is the direct result of pauperization. And do we need to dicsuss politics? The man has successfully brainwashed you to believe the problem are people who fight for social justice. How very sad.

We don't have a problem with actual Social Justice: Doctors without Borders and other such organizations that help out actual social issues.
We have a problem with SJWs such as your self: the type who ask for handouts and safe spaces, etc.

I consider myself a realist. My only point is that human nature is what divides us. Religion, skin color, socioeconomic status, etc, etc, etc; these are only the excuses dujour. We have always, and will always divide ourselves along some line or another.

I know you consider yourself that, you're just very wrong. There is a tendency to divide but in a modern, communication based society its a bad thing and it does not make sense. Most of us don't live in communities of less than 500 people.
As to korozco: you're mixing up several completely different cultures with your bigotted stereotypes of "raping savages" and such. As to race: then explain to me why there is more variation within a socalled race as there is between races. I know you can identify races by blood samples, but thats totally different from what you believe you're talking about. Also explain to me where "wealth" is coming from. Saying that only leads to more people who will never even try. Also the way you presented your argument, its just plain wrong. People are born with a pretty high level of aggression, and they learn to control it. You will not find people arguing, its just human nature, will you?

Nothing I said should in any way be interpretated as we shouldn't try to be decent people. Just because it is in our nature does not mean we cannot overcome it, nor does it mean we should accept it. What we should accept is that we will never change ALL people's minds or ALL instances of someone being an asshole.
And I do not believe that any argument from anyone will lead to people not trying. Decent human beings will always be decent human beings.

See what you're looking for is a Utopian society where everyone is equal and everyone has a rightful place. At our current population and scientific standing it's impossible, plain and simple. We need to expand our scientific research a thousands fold before we can reach a Utopian society. Do you want to know what has driven scientific research? I'll tell you, it's been money. You're point is irrelevant to this conversation. I don't think racism is right. Not now, not ever. My point is if you are going to try to solve these issues which we should, don't go at them while looking at their origins and causes incorrectly. Racism isn't something that just one day happened when a white dude saw a black guy. Humans evolved with at least some subtle racism.
