Why do upper class people feel the need to name their kid Blake and spell it Blokey? Or Cheyenne and spell it Sheyanne? Or Owen and spelling it (btw I know someone who did this) on?

In reality it happens a lot where illiterate parents name their kids and it turns into something ridiculous
