To be fair, I remember the most useless, mundane things, and forget the most important and recent stuff. Example: I distinctly remember being three and sitting on my Nana's garden, picking and eating ants, yet for the life of me can't remember what I did yesterday.

what do ants taste like? back when i was like 4 or 5, i used a scissors and dissected them because i thought that's what science was. Ant blood smells pretty bad though.

I remember eating them, and to be honest, I'm pretty sure I just devoured them without tasting them. I was a weird kid. Vaguely, I think they were a little sour and bitter?

m8, it was in the name of science....well maybe because one of them bit me when i was younger. They eventually moved out because of the countless massacre and headless bodies everywhere.

And I was simply widening and broadening my experience of food, testing my palate out against unusual tastes.

I remember my 6 year old self putting my feet up against the wall and lying on my bed. I wanted to remember the moment as a "happy day." I still do.

I do this all the time for some reason, when I was younger too. I also associates things together, so even if I don't remember it right away a train passing by or something could remind me of a distinct memory I have of being like 5 or 6 or something.

I have a constant memory of a ginger kid jumping over a chair. I wonder who he is and how he's doing
