I worked in pediatrics so I know the importance of counting months up to 24 or even 36 month old because roughly each trimester has significant milestones . But unless you are at the Drs or therapist ... yeah, your child is two!

As mentioned, important in pediatrics. But also frustrating when shopping for clothes and (in my experience) 24 month clothes are smaller than 2t (2year old toddler), so well intentioned gift givers are deceived.

Imagine doing that at a later age like: "How old are you?" "Oh I'm 228 months, 2 weeks, 6 days, 15 hours, 45 minutes and 38 seconds"

Omg Stfu you lose nothing by using years like everybody else. You're like America refusing to switch to metric.

So basically when I get a "tiny" version of me and 18 years pass... I'll say "my 216 month old is moving out"... Great logic

Might not be towards me. And I understand it is beautiful to have kids but to not parents and while not in the medical field it is just annoying to say it that way.
