It's an idea about different changed universes
A cat is put into a box with a device that if a single particle decays (goes away) which is completely random to happen, an airborne toxin is released and will kill the cat. Because the process is random, the cat could technically be both alive and dead because you haven't seen it yet. Then it's said that there are Two different universes with one with the cat dead and one with it alive.
It's confusing, I know \_(•~•)_/
I hope I explained it well!
Or something like that.
