I don't think it's permanent. To my knowledge it can be healed.

I think they will. One is currently at the vet until Monday or Tuesday,and the other one is gonna be dropped off when we pick up the one at the vet.

Ah,I see. And I'm fairly certain they'll be fine. The vet seems fairly confident,so that's good!
