This is entirely possible. However, our film studios are just as lame as they were back then. They cast Chris Evans as Captain America. Evans was part of the hiorrific Fantastic Four movies. You want to see a studio take a REAL chance? Cast complete unknowns. The current cast did fine, but a cast of unknown, good actors would have not been haggling over multiple movies.

Like they did with Chris Hemsworth? He was relatively unknown, his biggest role being Kirks dad who only had 3 minutes of screen time. Also, and yes I know they are different studios, but Hugh Jackman was a relatively unknown (in the states) and there was a major resistance to him being cast. For that matter Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman and Elizabeth Olsen are all relative unknowns until they were cast, family association aside. They have to have at least a few big names in order to get people to see it, then they can start adding lesser knowns

Relative unknowns. In their country. I am saying - cast complete unknowns. There are fantastic actors who aren't celebrities.
