In truth, the number of homosexuals was always that high. Our cultural sensibilities are simply changing, causing a higher percentage of that community to be open. It's sociological, not biological.
nothing to do with evolution. nature has always reacted to human overpopulation, there's a whole science branch studying this and the theory that homosexuality is a direct reaction to overpopulation is a real theory
According to polls, gays/lesbians account for less than 2% of the population. There is also speculation that this number is inflated by respondents (especially college students) lying about their sexuality either to seem "cool" or just to screw with the pollsters. Regardless, the highest number I've seen is under 2%.
It's difficult to know for sure, of course, but it appears that the rate homosexuality has remained relatively steady, at least as long as anyone has bothered to check. I assume it appears that there are rainbows everywhere because homosexuality has become more tolerated, and more gays are "coming out", not because more people are gay.
Obviously, it´s because now it becomes more and more socially accepted and the people who had been guy and would be gay in every other year are just outting themselves
It's not 'Increasing'. People were less likely to admit they were gay in previous times.

On the African American side of Instagram (the "woke" ones) they believe the government is pumping chemicals into their water supply to make their brothers and sisters gay. True Story
I read a study several years ago that found that the entire population the world would fit within the continental US. Supposedly everyone could live in decent housing with plenty of yard space and parks too. I don't recall how many people they figured per house, but I think it was average family size.
We're not overpopulated in terms of space (though some places are) we're over populated in terms of, the earth simply doesn't have enough resources to sustain this many people
Actually, we don't have enough space. Going by current technology, with our planet's land area, for everyone in the world to have the living space of a middle-class, average, American house hold (a decent house with 3-6 people and a small garden), we would need around 6 more planet earths.
Just because you might not have a high population density in your area/country, doesn't mean it isn't through the roof (literally) in some places, like India, China or parts of Central Europe.
I don't know where you heard that, but multiple studies and calculations have proven that literally all 7 billion people could live in America with the living space of a middle-class average American household with 3 to 6 people. There it would have to be a complex, and the only people who would need to live anywhere else would be farmers.
Yeah, but consider that the average living condition on earth consumes much less than the average U.S. Citizen. And there are even more under that average

But overpopulation is not real considering we have an entire Antarctica without anyone living on it
