He offers a bitter, cynical perspective, which I completely understand and empathize with (been there). But it's not the whole picture, since simply having a job to go to and to earn money from IS a blessing. Be thankful and appreciate what you got, because life can always get more horrible.

Depends on your view of things. It's not a way I'd prefer to live, but I get to eat whatever I want, go buy shit I want, and I can hang out with friends pretty freely. It's enough.

You could always just wake up whenever the fuck you want under a fucking bridge in the same fucking smelly clothes you wore all month and eat on a fucking dollar menu every day if it makes you happy.
