Edge of a pocketknife or a very thin flathead screwdriver, put the edge right where the two pieces meet and apply pressure carefully and away from your body or others, lest you slip and shank them

I just use my teeth. Much simpler and not much risk of bodily harm. Other than potentially getting sick.

I used to use my teeth until one day one of the pieces slipped and went through my lip,.. wasn't fun lol
