Okay..the handle is going to move down when opened, causing more slack on the chain though, not tension. Right?

Hmm. True if the chain didn't slide off the door handle when it's vertical, then that would work

I mean, sure. But all they would have to do to guarantee this works is place the chain around the cylindrical portion of the handle instead. The part closest to the door. Then it couldn't fall off at all

you have to squeeze the handle on tye grenade, pull it's pin out and then release the handle on the grenade. this isn't taped right to do that. the grenade would just come off the wall when the door opens.
