How did I not realize this before? It was so obvious

I was trying to relate something to dancers but was coming up short. Turns out my mind is just ruined and it has nothing to do with that.

Well they are "chip and dale" and neither of them are wearing pants...

They didn't originally, but for Rescue Rangers their appearance was changed (they were finally given clothes) and they were, in fact, modelled after Indy and Magnum. Really upped their coolness factor in my book!

Some times some crimes go slipping through the cracks but these two gumshoes are picking up the slack...
