Childhood? Ha! I'm 28 and still have this irrational fear of the deep end.

I was scared of the black stripes at the bottom because I thought they looked like hammer sharks

I still am scared of that but only when I'm in a pool alone

when i was a kid my pool got shady in the deep end and it was like pitch blue and i couldnt see in it and i would run as fast as i can to get away from "jaws"
